Following the success of our work on Fruit of the Loom Makalu was invited to assist in developing Russell Europe. The brand was overhauled with a contemporary urban style, clean design and a subdued colour palette that is visually distinctive from sister-brand Fruit of the Loom. This culminated in the “THE ONE TO WEAR”, a massive multi-region print and digital campaign that included brochures, leaflets, exhibition stands, trade magazine ads, and e-shots.
We were responsible for the design, artwork and print management of this 120-page brochure across six languages.
Art direction and photoshoot
We organised and directed a multi-week photoshoot for the entire range, using multiple locations and models.
Website design and development
We were also tasked with revamping the Russell Europe website, bringing it in-line with the rest of the brand. This responsive site is inspired by the look of the brochure and with a focus on the extensive library of product images.
